The
Highway Code Online
The
Theory Test
The requirement to remove watches was
introduced earlier this year and brings us in line with other
bodies conducting testing through Pearson centres. This is
necessary, as candidates attending the centre for their theory
test also attend for other reasons, e.g. university entrance
exams, teaching exams, nursing exams etc and standardisation
is essential. Technology has now advanced to the stage where
it is possible using a watch, either with video or using
Bluetooth, to communicate with others. The intention of this
requirement is to maintain the integrity of the test.
You will need some literature to prepare for the theory test,
and to keep for future reference once you have passed your test.
These include
The
Highway Code ,
Know
Your Traffic Signs, and some form of
CD-ROM,
DVD etc for practising the Hazard Perception part of the
test.
Ask your instructor for further
details. He / She may be able to supply you with
these materials, maybe at a reduced price.
