These are held usually on the first Monday of the
month at Rishton
Golf Club, Eachill Links, Hawthorn Drive, Rishton BB1
4HG
at 8 pm.

- In order to be eligible to
join Blackburn and District Approved Driving Instructors'
Association, you must be a DSA Approved Driving Instructor.
- Trainee Instructors (PDI's)
are accepted as non-paying, non voting members.
- Retired ADI's and persons
dealing with road safety matters and similar interests are
also welcome to join.
- Well known speakers are
brought in to address the members and over the past two
years we have had Barbara Trafford, Managing Director of the
ADI Federation (no connection to the North West Federation
mentioned above), Neil Peek, President of the ADINJC, John
Lepine MBE, General Manager of MSA GB Ltd., Stephen Haley
who wrote the book ‘Mind Driving’, plus of course many DSA
personnel, including local DSA DTAM, Trevor Outram, Laura
Great-Rex, DSA ACDE, and Dawn Morse, DSA TCM at Blackburn
with Darwen. So, there is always something going on and
something to interest you.

We have a number of
discounts available for members (see "Members Only" link )

All our members are kept up-to-date
with regular emails which they can read or file away for
reading later, and there is a "members only" section on
this website.

are listed free on this website.
- We also have contacts with a company that
does free Fleet/NVQ3 training, and for those that just want
to do the NVQ3 course, Accrington &
Rossendale College (Larry Cunningham) will get you on your way to
becoming a better and more qualified ADI.
- BADDIA
Sickness Benefit Scheme for Full Members
After 2 weeks sickness, full members are
eligible to claim BADDIA Sickness Benefit from the third to the
sixth weeks.
A full paying member (not
honorary, associate or retired) who has been a full member
for two years can claim one weeks benefit.
A full paying member for
five years can claim up to four weeks benefit.
These parameters are the
minimum and maximum.
