association was established in 1975 to provide
business opportunities and Continuing Professional Development
for Approved Driving Instructors in Blackburn and surrounding
We now have over 60 ADI members, plus associate members and
retired ADI members, making us one of the largest local
associations in the country and, we think, one of the best.
All active ADI's are encouraged to join,and we have membership
categories for retired and semi-retired ADI's, plus trainee
instructors (PDI's).Only fully qualified instructors are

the responsibility of the association, however, a complaints
procedure is in place should it be required. The association
will look at complaints and be fair in its assessment.
